An inconspicuous building on the side of the road shows only by a wooden sign that the Old Official Prison was once housed here.

The building of the old official prison stands not far from the present town hall of the municipality of Hille. Almost inconspicuous on the thoroughfare to the other parts of the village. The building dates back to 1896. In the past, not only two prison cells were housed in the building, but also the equipment of the fire department. The cells are still preserved today and an old high-pressure fire engine is stored there. The inscription on the building reminds of its former purpose.
